Northside Elementary School is a K-5 facility. When North Warren Elementary School closed in 1992, grades four and five were added to grades K-3. In addition to regular education classes, classes are offered in Spanish, Music, Physical Education, Media, Computer Lab, Guidance, and Exceptional Children's Programs.

Northside Elementary School is a state-of-the-art facility which includes a media center, two computer labs, multi-purpose room, twenty-six classrooms, guidance office, administrators' offices, two lounges and restrooms for students and adults.

Our school is located in the small rural community of Norlina, Warren County, North Carolina. Our current school enrollment is 358. Northside Elementary School is a Title I school with 81% of students receiving free or reduced lunch.

Our mission is to provide a challenging and enriching environment for all students to become lifelong learners to fulfill their potential in an ever-changing global society. We are committed to excellence for both students and staff. Our focus is to challenge students and enhance the learning process for all learners. Northside Elementary School's commitment to excellence has been embraced by all staff members for the benefit of each student.

We believe that all students at Northside Elementary School are capable of learning. It is our responsibility and task to maintain an atmosphere that promotes learning with high expectations for all children. We are striving to become a school of excellence.
